illy collection 2008 - 75th anniversary
Founded by Francesco illy in 1933, illycaffé this year celebrates its 75th anniversary.
This special celebration pack contains a limited edition can of illy coffee with an illy logo inspired
by the one of the 1930s.Bundled with the can is a fine coffee cup with a silver logo dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the compagnie. The cup is available in a limited edition of 1933 examples in reference
to the year illycaffé was founded. And  was given away to illy employees all over the world at an conference of illy in Trieste.
Several employees have offered me this cup, but I think the asking price from 1000 to 1500 Euros far too high and not in proportion.
And have decided to wait patiently, at an appropriate offer.
There are collections with a lower production volumes and lower prices.
As an example minimalia suitcase and spirit cup. So dear collectors do not take hasty decisions.
 
This offer contains: one Illy Cup Special Limited Edition (only 1933 pcs numbered worldwide) of Illy Art Collection 2008 devoted to ILLY 75's Birthday (1933-2008). This cup was sold only during Illy Convention on July 3 2008 in Trieste.And  was given away to illy employees all over the world at an conference of illy in Trieste.

Note : The cup is not part of the "illy art collection" series and has no inscription on the inside. The cup, decorated with an old illy logo printed in silver, came in a special package together with a little brochure and a can of coffee on which the old logo is printed too.
